Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot seeks a reliable Cashier to handle front-end transactions, operate cash registers, scan items, collect payments, and issue receipts while maintaining a positive checkout experience for customers.

Ideal candidates will have retail cashier experience, basic PC knowledge, and familiarity with POS systems, plus strong math and communication skills. Evening/weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales.
• Basic PC knowledge.
• Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS.
• Good math skills.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Customer satisfaction-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
• Scan goods and ensure pricing & product is accurate
• Collect payments whether in cash, check or credit
• Issue receipts and change as necessary
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
