Broulim's is seeking a detail-oriented Checker to provide efficient checkout services and friendly customer support. You will scan and bag items, process payments, and help customers with store policies and promotions.

The role emphasizes accuracy, reliability, and teamwork to ensure a smooth and pleasant shopping experience. Ideal candidates are comfortable standing for extended periods, handling multiple tasks, and delivering consistent service during busy periods.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Customer service or retail experience is preferred but not required.
Availability for flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and assist them with scanning and bagging at the checkout counter.
Ensure accuracy in scanning items and prices.
Process payments via cash, card, and electronic methods using a POS system.
Provide information on store policies, promotions, and products.
Handle returns and exchanges per store policies.
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout area.
Assist with stocking shelves and replenishing inventory as needed.
Collaborate with team to ensure smooth store operations and excellent service.
