Job summary

Checker at Broulim's is a detail-oriented teammate supporting fast-paced checkout operations and friendly customer service. You will scan and bag items, process payments, and help customers with store policies and products.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean checkout area, assisting with stocking, and collaborating with the front-end team to ensure a smooth shopping experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service or retail experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with scanning and bagging at checkout.
• Ensure accuracy in scanning prices and codes.
• Process payments via POS (cash, card, digital).
• Provide information on store policies and promotions.
• Handle returns and exchanges per policy.
• Maintain checkout area cleanliness and organization.
• Assist with stocking shelves as needed.
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficient store operations.
