Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is hiring a Front-End Team Member to help deliver a smooth checkout experience and assist customers with friendly, efficient service. You’ll be the last touchpoint before customers leave the store, ensuring accurate transactions and a positive visit.

You’ll rotate between scanning, bagging, restocking, and keeping the checkout area clean and organized, adapting to busy periods and many changing priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ depending on local/state rules).
• Completion of company cashier/front-end training on hire.
• Basic math and clear communication skills required.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Previous customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle transactions and assist customers.
• Scan items and ensure accurate pricing.
• Bag groceries and maintain checkout area.
• Answer questions and resolve basic issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of front-end area.
• Restock and collect carts as needed.
• Follow store policies and procedures.
• Adapt to changing tasks and customer flow.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
