Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking a cashier to handle customer transactions accurately at the Front End. You will operate cash registers, scan items, process payments, and issue receipts while maintaining a friendly, efficient checkout experience.

Ideal candidates have prior cashier or sales experience, basic computer skills, and comfortable using POS systems. Evening/weekend availability and teamwork in a fast-paced store environment are important.

Qualifications

• Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales.
• Basic PC knowledge.
• Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS.
• Good math skills.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Customer satisfaction-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage transactions with customers using cash registers.
• Scan goods and ensure pricing & product is accurate.
• Collect payments whether in cash, check or credit.
• Issue receipts and change as necessary.
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information.
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.
