Safeway is hiring a Front-End Team Member to ensure smooth checkout experiences and friendly service. You will scan items, bag groceries, answer questions, and aim to complete purchases accurately while keeping the front end clean and organized.

This role supports cart retrieval, restocking, and general front-end upkeep in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided, and weekly pay, discounts, and benefits are available to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ depending on state) to hire.
• Completion of cashier or front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Assist customers at checkout with scanning, bagging, and payment processing.
• Keep front-end area clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift.
• Assist with cart collection and basic store maintenance.
• Provide friendly, helpful service and answer customer questions.
