Job summary

SP+ is seeking a location assistant to help manage daily parking operations at our Romulus, MI location. You will support staff, ensure customer interactions meet standards, and assist with reports, banking deposits, and safety compliance at the site.

The role requires a High School Diploma, customer-service skills, and the ability to work varied shifts, including evenings or weekends. Practical parking experience is preferred and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience Required: High School Graduate. A minimum of six months of parking experience preferred.
• Availability to Work: Special shift requirements, if any, will vary depending on location's hiring needs. If applicable, availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.
• License Requirement: Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license with current address and acceptable driving record.
• Oral Communication: Speaks clearly; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions.
• Written Communication: Writes clearly and informatively; Able to read and interpret written information.
• Customer Service: Have a strong customer orientation and positive attitude. Able to respond to requests for service and assistance in a courteous and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day management of the assigned location, ensuring parking operations follow contractual guidelines and maintaining client relations.
• Participate in programs to improve client and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in scheduling staff, supervising frontline staff, preparing month-end reports, and budgeting activities.
• Report accidents, safety hazards, or policy violations to the Facility Manager.
• Maintain knowledge of all areas of the garage and surrounding landmarks to assist customers.
