Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Front-End Team Member to ensure a smooth checkout experience for customers. You will handle transactions, assist shoppers, restock, and maintain the front end throughout the shift.

The role requires flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced retail setting. Experience in customer service is preferred but not required; training provided upon hire.

Qualifications

• Friendly, clear communication during checkout and customer assistance.
• Processing purchases accurately across cash, card, and digital payments.
• Accuracy in scanning, pricing, produce codes, and order completion.
• Handling cash transactions, counting change, and balancing registers.
• Managing multiple tasks while maintaining steady workflow.
• Assisting with bagging, cart retrieval, stocking, and front-end upkeep.
• Recognizing and addressing pricing, transaction, or customer service questions.
• Following company policies, register procedures, and checkout processes.
• Comfort managing changing tasks and customer flow throughout the shift.
• Standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate the front-end checkout area and complete purchases efficiently.
• Assist customers with questions and direct them to services as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked checkout environment.
• Restock supplies, collect carts, and support overall front-end operations.
