Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older (or 18 years or older, depending on local/state requirements)
• Completion of company cashier or front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Create a smooth and positive checkout experience for customers.
• Scan items, bag groceries, and answer questions to finalize purchases.
• Keep the front end organized and running consistently throughout the shift.
• Rotate between tasks such as handling transactions, collecting carts, and restocking.
• Follow store policies, register procedures and checkout processes.
