Albertsons Companies is seeking a Front-End Team Member to help provide a smooth checkout experience. You’ll scan items, bag groceries, answer questions, and ensure accuracy while keeping smiles and efficiency on every transaction.

In a fast-paced retail environment, you’ll rotate between tasks like handling transactions, collecting carts, restocking, and maintaining the checkout area. This role suits someone who enjoys variety and working with customers all day.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (or 18 depending on local/state requirements)
• Completion of company cashier/front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Create a smooth checkout experience for customers, including scanning items and assisting with questions
• Handle transactions accurately (cash, card, digital payments) and balance as needed
• Keep the front-end organized, clean, and running smoothly throughout the day
• Assist with bagging, cart retrieval, stocking, and front-end upkeep
• Adapt to changing priorities and customer flow during shifts
