Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Front-End Team Member in Pacifica, CA to provide a smooth checkout experience, help customers complete purchases, and keep the front-end area running efficiently throughout the shift.

You’ll handle transactions, assist with bagging, restocking, and cart retrieval, while staying friendly and organized in a fast-paced environment. No prior grocery experience required, but customer service skills and flexibility are valued.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older (or 18+ depending on local/state requirements).
• Completion of cashier or front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and clear communication skills required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at checkout and ensure accurate purchases.
• Scan items, bag groceries, and process payments.
• Keep front-end area organized and running smoothly.
• Restock supplies and collect carts as needed.
