Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Front-End Team Member to help create a smooth checkout experience for customers. You will assist with scanning, bagging, answering questions, and keeping the front end organized and running efficiently throughout the day.

The role involves handling transactions, restocking, cleaning the area, and adapting to changing tasks and customer flow in a fast-paced environment. Prior cashier training and flexible scheduling are appreciated.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ (or 18+ depending on state)
• Completion of cashier/front-end training on hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Create a smooth checkout experience for customers, scan items, bag groceries and answer questions
• Keep the front end organized, clean, and running smoothly throughout the day
• Rotate tasks: handle transactions, collect carts, restock supplies, maintain checkout area
• Maintain accuracy in scanning, pricing and order completion
• Follow store policies, register procedures and checkout processes
• Support with bagging, cart retrieval and general front-end upkeep
• Adapt to changing tasks and customer flow during shifts
