Job summary

LER TechForce, LLC. is seeking a Product Engineer Chassis in Dearborn, MI to design, develop, and validate frame components for passenger trucks.

You will lead release engineering for frame parts, apply DFMEA/PFMEA, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, cost-effective solutions. You should have CAD experience (CATIA/3DX), strong problem-solving, and a track record of guiding teams through design reviews.

Qualifications

BS degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
Experience in frame or structural design and release CAD work (CATIA/3DX).
Strong CAD modeling, tolerance analysis, and design for manufacturability.
Ability to lead a team and communicate across functions.

Responsibilities

Design and Release Engineering for Frame, Mounts, Spare Tire Winches, and Tow Hooks.
Apply DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Engineering Specifications.
Lead design reviews to meet vehicle attributes and durability goals.
Resolve durability, assembly, and functional issues; mentor peers.
Deliver material cost reduction and benchmarking initiatives.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time launches.
