HTC Global Services in Michigan is seeking a Product Engineer to design, develop, and validate structural components for passenger trucks and vehicles, with a focus on underbody parts.

You will apply CAD/3D modeling (CATIA V5/V6 or 3DX), interpret CAE outputs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet package, durability, and safety targets. The role requires leadership, DFMEA/PFMEA, and release activities, plus ongoing cost and weight reduction initiatives across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years in frame or structural design and release.
• Experience with CAD and 3D modeling.
• Experience with CATIA V5/V6 and/or 3DX.
• Ability to interpret CAE model outputs and lead teams.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and validate structural components for passenger trucks and vehicles.
• Support design and release for frame structures, mounts, and related parts.
• Develop and modify CAD models to generate iterative proposals.
• Apply first principles to structural design and analyze CAE outputs.
• Design and release built-to-print content while meeting standards.
• Provide design leadership to meet package, crash, durability, and thermal goals.
• Lead frame structure designs to satisfy requirements.
• Resolve durability, assembly, and functional issues.
• Apply DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Engineering specs.
• Support robust designs and failure mode avoidance.
• Mentor peer engineers and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Support material cost reduction and warranty reduction initiatives.
