Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

Engineer to design, develop and validate structural components for passenger trucks and vehicles. Looking for innovative problem solvers with ability to manage complex systems and components, design for efficiency and validate using engineering tools and knowledge. Talent to be able to understand and develop complex systems and balance deliverables to make most cost/weight effective and functional proposals for underbody components. Will be working on Frame; frame mounted structural sheet metal, body isolators, tuned massed dampers

Skills Required:

CAD, 3D Modeling, Analytical skills, Application Design

• 1. CAD – TCE Vis mockup; CATIA V5/V6, 3DX
• 2. 3D Modeling – modeling skills aligned with manipulation of existing CAD models to generate iterative proposals
• 3. Analytical skills – understanding of engineering first principles as applied to structural design and interpretation of CAE model outputs
• 4. Application Design – Design and Release of built to print and or Ful service supplier content, ensuring the design of record meets design requirements and Ford Standards

Experience Required:

3 years experience in frames or structures Design and Release CAD Capable (CATIA, 3DX) BS Mechanical Engineering Excellent communication skills, written verbal. Ability to lead a team, work with cross functional group.
