Job summary

F.tech R&D North America, Inc. seeks a Design Engineer to support the development of vehicle chassis components from concept through launch into production.

The role combines technical design and project coordination to ensure manufacturability and successful delivery. The ideal candidate solves technical problems, manages multiple priorities, and communicates with diverse stakeholders across customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 0–3 years of related engineering experience.
• Understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and customer requirements.
• Strong analytical, creative problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to organize and lead meetings and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities to meet milestones.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop vehicle chassis components, creating 2D and 3D CAD data.
• Apply mechanical engineering and manufacturing knowledge to solve problems.
• Develop components from concept to prototype and production.
• Lead meetings with internal and external teams.
• Act as liaison between customer and company for project coordination.
• Ensure designs are manufacturable and ready for mass production.
• Support product launches after design freeze.
