Job summary

Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) is seeking a Chassis Engineer II to join the Chassis/Trim/Body Team in Irvine. You will investigate chassis quality issues, conduct data-driven analyses, and implement improvements to enhance vehicle quality.

The role requires 3+ years in QA/QC or vehicle quality investigation, a Bachelor’s in Mechanical/EE/Automotive Engineering, and travel up to 30% domestically and internationally. This is an on-site position in a global automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in QA/QC, quality improvement, or vehicle quality investigation & root cause analysis.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and support testing of chassis quality issues by responding to requests from Hyundai Motor Group and affiliates.
• Analyze data from field investigations to diagnose root causes and validate improvements.
• Benchmark designs and TSBS to enhance systems and materials.
