Job summary

Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. in Irvine is seeking a Senior Chassis Engineer to join the Chassis/Trim/Body Team. You will focus on the continuous development of product quality and customer satisfaction for chassis systems.

This role requires hands-on investigation, data-driven analysis, and collaboration with vendors and plants. You will mentor junior engineers and report on technical findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering.
• 7+ years of QA/QC or Vehicle Quality Investigation & Root Cause Analysis.
• Travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and support chassis quality issues across Hyundai, Genesis, and Kia.
• Analyze field data to diagnose root causes and validate improvements.
• Benchmark competitor designs and TSBs to enhance systems.
• Research external indices and customer feedback for market trends.
• Manage schedules and coordinate with outsourced partners.
• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices.
