Job summary

Technique is seeking a Parts Support Specialist at our North Carolina chassis facility. You will source, receive, organize, and distribute parts to support chassis assembly and repair operations, ensuring timely availability and quality standards.

The role requires hands-on warehouse experience, familiarity with chassis components, and ability to read manuals or schematics. You will work closely with technicians and production teams, maintain accurate records, and uphold safety and compliance in

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
1–2 years in a parts room, warehouse, or automotive/chassis environment.
Familiarity with chassis systems and mechanical component identification.
Experience with inventory/parts management software (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar).
Able to read parts manuals, catalogs, and schematics.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk/bend for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Inspect, verify, and process incoming parts shipments against purchase orders.
Maintain accurate inventory levels and conduct cycle counts.
Identify chassis components using manuals, catalogs, and schematics; assist with lookups.
Pull, stage, and deliver parts to technicians and work orders.
Keep the parts room clean, organized, and properly labeled.
Process returned, defective, or warranty parts and coordinate with vendors.
Assist in generating purchase order requests for stock replenishment.
Collaborate with assembly, maintenance, and operations to anticipate parts needs.
Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements.
Maintain records of parts transactions and inventory adjustments; generate reports as needed.
