Job summary

Ford Motor Company in Chicago is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Process Coach to lead department scorecard objectives and standardize across workstations. You will drive constraint management, coach teams, and act as a change agent for Ford Production System principles.

Expect to mentor hourly and salaried staff, plan maintenance, and sustain a culture of continuous improvement with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Production experience.
• Interface with plant hourly, salaried personnel and plant management.
• Present in front of plant management.
• Teach Ford Production System principles.
• Union negotiations experience.
• Data for decision making.
• Effective written and oral communication.
• Work well as part of a team.
• Excellent leadership with problem solving ability.
• Work well under pressure and crisis management.
• Multi-task in fast paced environment.
• Demonstrate One FORD leadership behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Confirm standards are in place and monitor adherence.
• Coach and support to achieve SQDCPME objectives.
• Address issues raised by teams and validate resolutions.
• Provide resources to maintain production flow and inputs accuracy.
