Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Process Coach Leader to ensure manufacturing standards are applied, coach teams, and drive continuous improvement in the Cincinnati area. You will lead change, mentor staff, and coordinate with plant management to optimize production flow.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Experience in production environment.
  • Strong interface with plant hourly, salaried personnel and management.
  • Ability to present to plant management.
  • Knowledge of Ford Production System principles is a plus.
  • Union negotiations experience is desirable.
  • Data-driven decision making using plant data.
  • Effective oral and written communication.
  • Team collaboration and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in crisis situations.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership demonstrated in One FORD behaviors with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Confirm standards are in place and adhered to in the area.
  • Facilitate Results Process through standard processes and tools.
  • Coach and support to achieve SQDCPME objectives.
  • Provide feedback on resolution of abnormalities and ensure corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement on systemic abnormalities to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure resources to maintain production flow and verify critical inputs.
  • Plan maintenance tasks, monitor completion and effectiveness.
  • Modify Time & Data Management to promote continuous improvement.
  • Plan FTPM activities to improve area performance.
  • Coordinate work plans (downtime, shutdown, change) and evaluate effectiveness.
  • Implement revisions to meet new standards as OSS matures.
  • Develop and provide feedback for Process Coach development.
  • Create a proactive performance driven culture with effective communication.
