Job summary

Baker Aviation is seeking a Sales/Operations specialist for our Part 135 charter operation. The role combines sales and operations, with the sales team acting as the single point of contact for brokers and pilots to ensure smooth, profitable trips. Responsibilities include quoting with Jet Insight, verifying aircraft availability, and coordinating with FBOs and crews to deliver on what we sell. Weekend availability is required to support on-demand charters.

Qualifications

• Quote charter flights using Jet Insight.
• Verify aircraft availability for date/time/route.
• Set repositioning legs per policy and verify trip margins.

Responsibilities

• Quote charter flights using Jet Insight
• Verify availability of aircraft for date/time/route
• Properly set repositioning legs according to policy
• Verify trip profit margins comply with company policy
• Verify usability departure/arrival airports
• Verify departure and arrival times work with booked trip
• Check fuel prices and adjust quote based on fuel cost
• Add taxes, event fees, and pet fees as applicable
• Follow up on previously quoted trips
• Assist brokers in booking trips and input pax info
• Coordinate with brokers and pilots to ensure trip execution
• Monitor trips and schedule changes, alert crew as needed
• Ensure trips fit crew duty limitations and input pilot notes
