Job summary

Solid Rock Recruiting, LLC. is assisting a respected commercial painting contractor in Charlotte, NC to hire an experienced Commercial Paint Project Manager.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of PM experience in commercial painting or coatings.
• Strong knowledge of surface prep, coatings systems, and application methods.
• Experience managing multiple projects, crews, and deadlines.
• Proven success with scheduling, budgeting, and client communication.
• Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial painting and coatings projects from award through closeout
• Coordinate with clients, general contractors, vendors, and field personnel
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, job costing, and safety compliance
• Review plans, specifications, and project documentation
• Conduct site visits and ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
• Lead and support field teams while maintaining strong customer relationships
• Resolve project challenges and maintain a high level of quality throughout execution
