Job summary

Cherry Coatings is seeking an experienced Project Manager for our Charlotte, NC area team. The role oversees all aspects of assigned commercial coating projects from start to finish, with emphasis on safety, cost control, and schedule adherence.

A minimum of 5+ years in coatings PM or estimating is preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Ideal candidates will lead cross-functional teams, manage RFP responses, develop schedules, and deliver projects that meet client expectations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Commercial Paint Coatings estimating or project management.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to manage all aspects of a project from start to closeout.

Responsibilities

• Establish a safety & people-first culture.
• Mentor, coach, and develop all team members.
• Ensure complete bid & cost evaluation for each project.
• Establish and maintain relationships with customers, project teams, architects and vendors.
• Experience in responding to RFPs and formal presentations.
• Perform site visits and collaborate with Operations & Field Management.
• Develop preconstruction schedule and monitor progress.
• Present job cost, scheduling and budget updates regularly.
• Review project documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Develop creative solutions on each project.
• Identify and resolve complex issues.
• Lead and motivate project teams through all phases.
