Job summary

UCI Health is seeking an experienced Charge Description Master Manager to oversee the chargemaster for inpatient and outpatient services, ensuring accurate capture of charges across departments. You will work closely with clinical and IT teams to maintain regulatory compliance and effective charge application.

The role requires CPC certification, at least 3 years of CDM leadership, and strong data analytics and communication skills to coordinate with physicians, coders, and revenue cycle staff

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years CDM management in a large health system.
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification.
• Experience with chargemaster management and regulatory guidelines.
• Strong communication and analytical skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Charge Description Master for inpatient and outpatient charges across services.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, IT, and clinical teams to align charges to guidelines and payer requirements.
