SSM Health is seeking a Nursing Leader to coordinate unit staffing and supervise nursing and support staff while ensuring adherence to clinical objectives and high-quality patient care. The role requires clinical expertise and the ability to collaborate with advanced practice providers.

Day shift, Regular/Full-time position within CV Intermediate Care. Requires nursing licensure and at least one year of RN experience. Benefits include parental leave, flexible pay options, and tuition coverage.

Qualifications

Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
One year of registered nurse experience.
State-specific licensure requirements (BLS, RN, ALS/NRP/PALS as applicable).

Responsibilities

Assigns, directs, educates and monitors nursing and support staff during assigned shift.
Assesses daily patient care needs and distributes assignments.
Collaborates with advanced practice providers to ensure quality outcomes.
Evaluates the effectiveness of patient care and addresses issues.
Responds to complaints about patient care and manages through established channels.
May provide input for hiring, training, directing, developing and evaluating staff.
