Job summary

Baptist Health in Alabama seeks an RN Charge Nurse to coordinate and evaluate unit activities, ensuring quality patient care during the assigned shift.

The Charge Nurse mentors staff, directs nursing processes and quality improvements, and collaborates with the Nurse Manager to align with hospital policies and goals.

BSN preferred; RN licensure with BLS is required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be needed depending on the area. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN licensure required.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on area.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to supervise and train employees; organize, prioritize, and schedule work.
