Job summary

UT Health East Texas in Tyler, TX is seeking a day shift, full-time Renal Urology Med-Surg Charge Registered Nurse (RN). You will coordinate and oversee patient care, supervise staff, and collaborate with physicians to meet hospital goals.

Requires TX RN license, BLS and ACLS within specified timelines. Three years inpatient/acute care experience and one year as charge nurse preferred; CAPD competencies beneficial.

Qualifications

• RN degree from accredited nursing program.
• Current Texas RN license.
• BLS within 14 days of hire and ACLS within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer care for Med-Surg Renal/Urology patients as charge RN.
• Provide supervision to nursing staff and ensure delivery of quality patient care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to achieve hospital and departmental goals.
• Oversee care plans and ensure alignment with physician orders and protocols.
