UT Health East Texas is seeking a day shift, full-time Post Surgical Medical Surgical Charge RN in Tyler, TX. The RN will coordinate and administer unit-specific patient care within a multidisciplinary team, providing clinical supervision to staff to ensure high-quality care in line with physician orders.

Responsibilities include collaboration with medical staff to reach departmental goals and managing care plans tailored to each patient.

Qualifications

• Degree as a Registered Nurse from an accredited school of professional nursing
• Current Texas RN License
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of employment

• Oversees the implementation of a plan of care appropriate to each patient’s needs.
