Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas is seeking a Charge Registered Nurse for Medical-Surgical Urology/Genitourinary to join our PRN Day shift team in Dallas, TX. The role supports a 24-bed unit, collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, and provides life-saving care on a fast-paced unit.

Requirements include an Associate's Degree in Nursing, RN license on hire, BCLS, CPI, and 1 year of acute care nursing experience; Bachelor's preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• RN license required upon hire; BCLS and CPI training required.
• 1 year of acute care nursing experience required; 2 years preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Self-scheduling with rotating weekend requirements.

Responsibilities

• The Charge Nurse communicates and collaborates with all members of the health care team.
• Supports and participates in shared governance/councils.
• Develops knowledge and skills, and promotes lifelong learning for the nursing profession.
• Assists leadership on the unit by guiding staff, ensuring a clean, safe environment, and completing unit tasks.
• Uses quality management tools to support organizational quality goals.
