What You’ll Need:

• Graduation from accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 1 year of hire, per unit guidelines.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 1 year of hire, per unit guidelines.

As a skilled Charge RN, you will be delivering exceptional nursing care to patients, seamlessly integrating the nursing process – from comprehensive assessment to meticulous planning, skillful implementation, and diligent evaluation. Our unit is a dynamic hub where skilled nurses take the helm, expertly leading their teams and fostering collaborative partnerships with a diverse range of healthcare professionals, all dedicated to providing the highest standards of age-appropriate and developmentally sensitive patient care.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing patient-centered care, addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, religious, and environmental needs, including assessment, nursing diagnoses, planning, intervention, coordination, education, and outcome evaluation, all aligned with WFBMC policies.
• Maintaining a secure, therapeutic environment with utmost respect for patient privacy and a commitment to responsive, professional behavior.
• Embracing technology to prioritize patient and staff safety through its effective use.
• Fostering effective communication to ensure seamless information sharing across the care continuum within our healthcare team.
