Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, organizing, and directing day-to-day nursing functions.
• Develop and update nursing service policies and procedures.
• Ensure reference materials and manuals are current and accurately maintained.
• Provide written and oral reports to the Director on nursing operations.
• Participate in committees and coordinate with other resident services for continuity of care.
• Supervise staffing, schedules, and evaluations; ensure adequate licensed and certified nursing staff.
• Monitor medication administration, patient care plans, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Oversee nursing service training and development, including in-service education.
