Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC is seeking a Charge Registered Nurse (RN) for the Neuro Science unit. The role includes 12-hour night shifts with self-scheduling and every-other-weekend rotation to promote work-life balance.

The RN will lead care for patients in a 20-bed unit, including spine/neck/head surgery, stroke, and seizure cases, while collaborating with experienced leaders and interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to condition and age of patient.
• Document medical necessity timely and accurately in the medical record.
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Perform timely and accurate quality improvement assessments.
