Job summary

Regions Hospital in Saint Paul, MN is seeking an exceptional Charge Registered Nurse for the Medical Progressive Care unit. This 0.75 FTE night shift position includes every 3rd weekend, offering an opportunity to lead a skilled nursing team in a Level I Trauma Center.

You will perform patient-centered, safe and efficient care, communicate with patients and families, and collaborate with the care team while supporting the unit and nursing department through shared governance and ongoing

Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing with 1 year RN experience
• Internal new graduate applicants can meet minimum requirements with an Associate Degree in Nursing
• Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota
• CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers
• Must have exceptional interpersonal skills and strong ability to work with a wide range of patients from varied backgrounds

• Provide patient‑centered, safe, effective care in the Medical Progressive Care unit
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team
• Maintain and foster effective working relationships with other health care team members
