The Medical Progressive Care unit is a 16-bed unit that has a population of patients with medical diagnoses requiring progressive care services such as respiratory failure, sepsis/shock states, gastrointestinal complications, liver failure, renal failure, pharmacologic overdoses, alcohol withdrawal, psychiatric and endocrine emergencies.
As a Registered Nurse in the Medical Progressive Care unit, you will be responsible for performing patient centered, safe, effective, equitable, timely and efficient patient care based on the specific needs of the patient populations served, communicating effectively with patients, families, and the Care Team, participating as an effective unit and nursing department member and establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other health care team members across the organization.
0.75 FTE, 12-hour nights & every 3rd weekend
