Job summary

Regions Hospital in Minnesota is seeking a Charge Registered Nurse for the Medical Progressive Care unit. This 0.75 FTE night shift role provides an opportunity to lead patient-centered care in a Level I Trauma Center and participate in shared governance.

You will mentor staff, coordinate care plans, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safety, timeliness, and equitable treatment for diverse patients. A Minnesota RN license is required; a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing with 1 year RN experience.
• Minnesota RN license in good standing.
• CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered, safe, effective, and equitable care on the Medical Progressive Care unit.
• Communicate with patients, families, and the care team effectively.
• Function as a collaborative unit member and maintain professional relationships across the organization.
• Participate in orientation and nursing practice governance as per hospital program.
