Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas, is seeking a Charge RN to join the Medical Telemetry unit. This 38-bed unit focuses on direct and individualized care, with a 36-hour weekly schedule and night shifts from 7pm to 7am.

We Have a Varied Medical/telemetry Population Including

• Sepsis
• Pulmonary Conditions or Respiratory Distress
• Chest Pain
• Infection
• Patients requiring isolation; including to negative airflow rooms
• Patients requiring skin and wound care including wound vacs
• Patients requiring scopes, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, central line placement, paracentesis, angio-cath, pacemaker insertions and chest tubes.
• Enteral Feeding Tube Insertion and Maintenance
• Patients requiring Cardiac monitoring
• GI abnormalities
• Trach care
• Genitourinary abnormalities

Requirements Of The Ideal Candidate

• Graduate of RN School of Nursing
• ADN required
• Must be licensed to practice professional nursing by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners

Qualifications

• We are looking for someone who has completed an established program in Nursing.
• At least (2) two years in the field.
• Registered Nurse License.
• You must have Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of being hired.
