Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Charge RN to lead and coordinate patient care, assessing and evaluating nursing practices to align with standards. This role serves as a clinical resource and supports high-quality patient outcomes.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for full-time RNs with at least 1 year of experience and no contract. Qualified candidates hold ADN, Diploma, or BSN and RN licensure in the hiring state or a compact state.

Qualifications

• RN license in hiring state or compact state
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• Other unit-specific certifications may be required (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, ENPC, OCN, CPHON, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM)

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)
• Licensure: Current RN license in the hiring state or compact state required
• Certifications:
  • BLS (AHA) required within 30 days of hire
  • Additional certifications may be required based on unit, including: ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, ENPC, OCN, CPHON, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM, or other unit-specific credentials

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
• Prolonged standing and walking
• Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, twisting, and squatting
