Job summary

Mercy in Fort Smith, AR is seeking a Charge Nurse RN to lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary team while delivering high-quality patient care. This full-time position requires at least 1 year of nursing experience and offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

You will assess patient conditions, develop care plans, administer treatments, document accurately, mentor staff, and support quality and safety initiatives in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associate Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the state of practice or compact licensure.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (or obtained within 30 days of hire).

What You'll Do

Preferred

• Charge nurse or leadership experience.
• Specialty certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, ENPC, OCN, CPHON, C-EFM, or other unit-specific certifications.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to bend, reach, kneel, squat, and twist as needed for patient care.
