Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown in Georgia is seeking a registered nurse to coordinate delivery of quality care from birth through the lifecycle and provide clinical support as needed. You will work with a diverse team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Required GA RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS; additional certifications such as chemotherapy/biotherapy may be required. The role offers growth within a supportive leadership environment focused on safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing is required
• Bachelor's degree preferred for advancement
• State licensure as RN in Georgia required
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) required
• Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS, etc.) required or within orientation
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification prior to independent chemotherapy administration

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle during the shift.
• Provides clinical care as needed when census demands.
• Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s).
• Serves as resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.
