Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a registered nurse to coordinate the delivery of high-quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle. You will provide essential clinical care when census demands and act as a key resource for staff and leadership to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The role requires Georgia RN licensure, BLS, and mandatory certifications (ACLS, PALS, chemotherapy/biotherapy where applicable) with progression within orientation.

Qualifications

• RN - Registered Nurse with Georgia licensure required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS, CHEMO/BIO) typically required within orientation period.
• PALS and other specialty certifications may be required depending on unit.
• Maintains competency and ongoing certification as per department addendum.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of quality nursing care from birth through lifecycle.
• Provide clinical care as needed when census demands.
• Communicate patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leadership.
• Serve as resource for guidance and assistance to staff.
