Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a registered nurse to coordinate the delivery of high-quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle. This role requires meeting licensure and certification requirements and working within a dynamic hospital setting.

Responsibilities include providing clinical care when census demands, communicating care needs to leadership, and supporting staff with guidance and resources to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN - Registered Nurse license (Georgia) required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required
• ACLS Certification required
• PALS Certification required
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification required
• NRP / AWHONN competencies within specified timeframes
• PEARS Certification required
• PALS if unit treats pediatric patients
• ACLS; PALS depending on unit needs
• New to specialty nurse: complete applicable certifications within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Coordinates delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle
• Provides clinical care as needed when census demands
• Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leadership
• Serves as a resource for guidance and assistance to the staff

Education

Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing

Bachelor's Degree Preferred
