Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate delivery of high-quality care from birth through the lifecycle. You will provide clinical care as needed and communicate staff and patient needs to leadership.

The role requires GA RN licensure, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and NICU/OB-specific certifications. A BSN is preferred, with 1 year of hospital experience required and additional certification as applicable. This position offers stable shifts and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing (Required).
• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
• 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital setting (Required).
• 2 years or more nursing experience in a hospital setting (Preferred).
• RN licensure in Georgia and/or multistate licensure (Required).
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, PEARS certifications required/soon after orientation.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required for certain units.
• PALS may be required for pediatric areas.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle.
• Provides clinical care as needed when census demands.
• Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s).
• Serves as resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.
