Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of San Antonio is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the nursing unit. You will plan, coordinate and provide patient care including interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.

You will educate patients and families for post-hospital care. ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment; BLS is required, and RN licensure must be current in the state of Texas or a compact state.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state or a compact state.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• 1 year inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise nursing care on the unit.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families for post-hospital care.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties (ACLS certification required).
