Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of San Antonio Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our inpatient team in San Antonio, TX. The RN will apply the nursing process to plan, deliver and coordinate patient care, including discharge planning and patient teaching.

In this role you may serve as Charge Nurse; ACLS certification is required for that role. We offer flexible scheduling, growth opportunities, and a supportive leadership team.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of employment or compact license.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment; ACLS for Charge Nurses.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and supervise patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and discharge planning.
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospital care.
• May serve as Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).
