Job summary

NaphCare, Inc. is seeking an experienced Charge Registered Nurse (RN) to lead clinical operations at the Forsyth County Detention Center in Winston-Salem, NC.

This full-time, Monday–Friday day-shift role (8:00 AM–4:30 PM) combines hands-on nursing with leadership to guide the nursing team and ensure quality care under facility protocols. The ideal candidate will have NC RN licensure, BLS, and at least two years of full-time RN experience, with the ability to work in a correctional setting and

Qualifications

• Active RN license in NC.
• BLS CPR certification (American Heart Association).
• Two years of full-time RN experience.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Ability to work in a correctional setting and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide health screenings and initial assessments of detainees.
• Monitor and document patient vitals and medical histories.
• Conduct daily rounds, triage needs, develop care plans, and coordinate services.
• Respond to medical emergencies and arrange timely transport when needed.
• Educate patients on prevention and healthy lifestyle choices.
