Cynet Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for correctional health in North Carolina. The role involves comprehensive nursing assessments, care planning, and delivering medications and procedures in a secure setting.

Ideal candidates have NC RN licensure, CPR/BLS, and preferably ACLS, with prior experience in acute care, emergency, or correctional settings. Strong clinical judgment and team leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license or compact license with NC eligibility.
• Current CPR/BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Experience in acute care, emergency, or correctional healthcare preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop patient care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per physician orders and nursing standards.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies, triage patients, and provide critical interventions.
• Monitor, evaluate, and document patient responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure care continuity.
• Supervise and support LPNs, nursing assistants, and other staff as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records.
• Educate patients on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and security protocols within the correctional environment.

Description:

Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop patient care plans.Administer medications, treatments, and medical procedures in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards.Respond promptly to medical emergencies, triage patient needs, and provide critical interventions.Monitor, evaluate, and document patient responses to treatment.Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.Supervise and support LPNs, nursing assistants, and other staff as appropriate.Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records.Educate patients on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive healthcare practices.Adhere to infection control, safety, and security protocols within the correctional environment.

Qualifications:

Current, valid RN license in the state of North Carolina (or compact license with eligibility to practice in NC).CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.Prior experience in acute care, emergency, or correctional healthcare preferred.Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.Ability to work effectively in a secure and fast-paced environment.
