Research Medical Center is seeking a Charge RN for the Burn Unit to lead a skilled, multidisciplinary team and ensure exceptional patient care. You will coordinate admissions, discharges, and daily operations while supporting staff development and clinical excellence.

The role emphasizes leadership, coordination, and adherence to high standards of nursing care in a fast-paced burn unit setting.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BCLS, TNCC certifications must be current or obtained within 30 days of start date.
• RN Diploma or higher required.
• Experience in burn unit or critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, evaluate, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to staff to improve performance.
• Support staff scheduling and unit operations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and leadership on outcomes.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered NurseRegistered Nurse Diploma
