Job summary

Research Medical Center in Kansas seeks a Charge RN for the Burn Unit to lead nursing teams and ensure exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a CNC, you will coordinate care, mentor staff, and partner with management to deliver outcomes.

BLS, ACLS, TNCC within 30 days are required. This role offers a strong clinical ladder within a large health system and a commitment to education and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be completed within 30 days of start date.
• BCLS must be completed within 30 days.
• TNCC must be completed within 30 days.
• Registered Nurse licensure is required.
• RN Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to staff.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse
