Job summary

Research Medical Center is seeking a Charge RN for the Burn Unit to lead a dedicated nursing team and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. You will coordinate admission and discharge, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and mentor staff in a fast-paced burn care environment.

Ideal candidates bring critical care experience, strong clinical leadership, and a commitment to excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • ACLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of start.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of start.
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course within 30 days of start.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse with RN Diploma.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes.
  • Partner with leadership to support improved outcomes and service.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and training to staff.
  • Assist with staff scheduling.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:
  • Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
  • Assist with staff scheduling.
What qualifications you will need:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Registered NurseRegistered Nurse Diploma
